The Karldap-System receives and  processes Radardata from 8 Sites as displayed in the picture below.

With all Radar-Sites are in operation,  each section of the whole airspace wil be covered simultanously by three  radars.

The required minimum Radar Separation depends on the number and kind of radar sites available as well as the technical status of the KARLDAP Systems.

Radar Separation wil be either  5 , 8  or 10NM.
